Something important is not adding up.

You are responsible for a decision, but the facts, costs or options are unclear.

More money is being requested.

Before approving it, you need to know what has been done, what remains and what can go wrong.

A business is missing its potential.

Sales, margins, people or systems are holding it back, and the usual fixes have not worked.

A claim or agreement could be costly.

Another party is driving the story and you need to test the facts before accepting the outcome.

A project, deal or asset is off course.

Time is slipping, costs are rising or the reports no longer match reality.

Start with one problem, not a long commitment.

We agree on the question, the work, the fee and what you will receive before an assignment begins.

1. Find the facts

Review the key records, talk with the right people and test the story against what can be confirmed.

2. Find the leverage

Identify the biggest risks and where a small change might protect or create the most value.

3. Make the decision clearer

Set out practical options, remaining unknowns and the next move we recommend.

The right answer may be to fix, fund, renegotiate, change course, stop or do nothing.

The first review may conclude that no further ZACCORP involvement is needed.

Experience that has changed the outcome.

Across businesses, agreements and capital projects, the work has been about protecting value, improving results and solving problems that crossed normal job descriptions.

Commercial claims

Helped a tenant eliminate the landlord's claims.

Challenged the claims with facts and a coordinated response rather than accepting the landlord's position.

Operating growth

Built and operated a business exceeding $12M in annual revenue.

Work spanned service delivery, office and field operations, acquisitions and expansion.

Sales performance

Rebuilt the sales and training system.

Before the changes, the average sale was about $1,500. Later transactions exceeded $100,000. Individual deal sizes varied.

Capital projects

Reworked a $2.3M retaining-wall problem.

Led a redesign response when the proposed approach raised a material cost and technical issue.

Owner-side leadership

Worked on a capital program approaching $250M.

Owner-side leadership across a complex, multi-phase program.

Transactions and disputes

Managed change when the stakes crossed disciplines.

Experience includes a specialty-manufacturing merger and resolution of a complex 99-year lease dispute.

Selected work from the principal's previous roles and businesses. Examples are abbreviated; identifying details are withheld.

One senior person who follows the whole problem.

More than 30 years of operating and project experience, over 150 projects and more than $1 billion in aggregate project exposure.

Andrew Steeper, Principal, has led and operated businesses across services, sales, manufacturing, construction, administration and capital projects. He holds a B.A.Sc. in Civil Engineering from the University of Toronto.

The aim is not another report. It is to bring the money, people, agreements and real work into one clear picture so the person making the decision can act.

Good fit: A costly problem, a real decision-maker and a plausible way to create or protect meaningful value. We work with owners, operators, investors, lenders, and their advisers. If ZACCORP is not the right fit, we will say so.
